How we hope to prepare your village:
So, we have been doing this a LONG, LONG time. And we have heard all the ways women felt the most supported during pregnancy. We also heard a lot of ways they wished they had been supported. Now, we know that change doesn't happen overnight. So, sometimes we have to say what we need- if it wasn't obvious before.
Take a look at our pelvis and etiquette friendly baby shower games. This is a great way to not just have fund at your party, but also learn how everyone can be supportive during pregnancy and once baby arrives. Enjoy!

Congratulations! You are at the beginning of a wonderful journey that will bring the most wonderful of changes.
I know you're probably wondering: "what should I be doing to keep myself healthy and strong for my baby?"
We all have that same thought.
And it's great that you are thinking about preparing your body for the changes it will experience in the next few months.
Around this time, we encourage at least 1 visit to your pelvic physical therapist.
This is where we cover what changes to expect in your body, what you can do to keep yourself active in a safe way and what to do to avoid discomfort or pain throughout your pregnancy as much as possible.
Topics we cover:
- Proper breath work to keep core and pelvic floor synced.

You now notice more changes in your body and can feel that beautiful baby growing and moving!
What we thought were just little butterflies at first are now becoming strong signs of growth.
You may start notices changes in your posture, energy and even attention span.
Many women experience the most noticeable changes in size of their belly during this time. You may have gone from saying "I don't even show" to "woah, this belly grew over night".
This is so typical and normal. Of course your body will need to make some adjustments in activity, exercise and more.
We see our expectant moms a bit more frequently here, about once per month to continue proper exercise.
Topics we cover: Healthy back during pregnancy. Strength and cardio with modifications as your body changes. Supportive garment trials to help you make it through the day.

You're almost there!
In a few weeks, your family will grow.
You've probably noticed more even more changes. Your body is doing such a wonderful job. The demand on it has never been greater than it is at this time.
During this trimester is when we really pick up the work. Your partner is highly encouraged to attend your sessions with you because team baby needs all hands on deck.
Topics we cover: Birth preparation techniques such as perineal massage, birthing position practice with partner, assessment of birthing products or equipment and ways to keep your body strong to the very end!
